Over the school week we've learned some of the basic tools of Adobe Illustrator. Pen, Line, Eraser, and muslch more. Tools that look familiar in Photoshop work in a total different way; however, and you may need to find a workaround to have the desired effect you were going for. This is because Illustrator as a vector program is better at making things that need to be scaled like logos, whereas Photoshop is better for things like photo editing or drawing.

Overall

  • Not all tools work exactly like Photoshop

  • You have to get used to the pen tool

  • Photoshop edits raster whereas Illustrator edits vector
