The first two weeks of DSA have been pretty simple. Week one was all about how to find solutions to a problem with apps, devices, instructions, and more. When week two came along, we learned about the history of Game Art and Design in general. Afterwards, we've focused on the history of one of the careers we had an interest in. This research was then used for a presentable timeline. If you're looking for mine specifically click here.
There are many way to find solution to a problem with Programs and Apps. The first thing you should always do is find help from the programs help menu. A faster way to do this is sometimes by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard, which is usually connected to that menu. Another way is going to your search engine of choice–the most popular being Google–and use the advanced search option. Advanced search, however, is usually built into the search field, just use the commands:*
"" For searching exact phrase or word
- To make sure this word doesn't become part of your search
OR If a word can be exchanged for another in a search... make sure OR is capital
.. To range between a certain group of numbers (because minus is as shown in the list)
Site: Replace site with the website and add a colon, then the search engine should only find searched within that site (ex: adobe.com: photoshop tutorials)
*Some commands may only work for google, therefore you should search for how to use a search function or directly use the search engine's advanced search
