It is important that your camera in 3Ds Max moves at an appropriate rate. Different camera angles help tell the story of a scene quite accurately in itself and one weird camera angle can mess up what you're trying to convey to the audience. An example of a weird camera movement would be this


If I was going for a more theatrical reveal of the stage this would be a more appropriate scene for the viewer



In order to achieve this smooth camera movement you must mess around with auto-hotkey while moving the camera at a constant rate of movement at the same time. It's better to edit the way the camera moves multiple times after auto-hotkey records the action so the viewer gets a better experience
